Notice of Annual HOA Membership Meeting -- Thursday, October 26, 2026

Please note the proxy form link is live below. Also, there have been no nominees put forward for open seats on the HOA Board so there will be no election at this meeting. Thus, no absentee ballot is provided. However, your proxy form is needed so that a quorum may be established and the meeting can proceed as required by law.

The Annual Meeting of Katy Lake Homeowner's Association, Inc. (the “Association”) will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Katy Lake Park on Katy Lake Drive, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
INCLEMENT WEATHER INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE SENT AT A LATER DATE.

Dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and sign-in for the HOA Annual Meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., the meeting will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., once quorum is established. The Association is a non-profit corporation chartered under the laws of the State of Texas and, as such, is required to hold Meetings of its Members.

The Meeting has been called by the Board of Directors pursuant to Article VIII, Section 4 of the Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions of the Katy Lake on the Greens, Phase 1 (the “CCRs”), wherein it states “An annual meeting of the Members of the Association shall be held in October of each year.”

To conduct a homeowners meeting, a quorum of thirty percent (30%) of the Members must be represented in person or by proxy. In order to be sure of a quorum, please sign and date your Proxy and Absentee Ballot and return it via email to katylakeneighbors@gmail.com even if you plan to attend as unforeseen circumstances do occur. The Proxy will be returned to you upon your arrival at the meeting, should you attend.

To be able to conduct business at the annual meeting we must meet a quorum of 30% of all eligible member either in person or by proxy. Instructions for submitting the forms are on the forms themselves.
